Site fails with 1.0.4

  • After the automatic update to 1.0.4 my website failed to show the content of the start page. Only some pages like contact and so on I could call directly.
    I deactivated all plugins and switched them on one after the other. Two plugins seem to make problems (W3 Total Cache and Complianz | GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent). But even when they were kept deactivated, the site only showed the header.
    Installing the 1.0.3 version helped to solve the problem, but I still work on my child theme to get it back to the original view.

    Could you please tell me your OS, browser, PHP version and WordPress version?
    There were only a very few changes, so it is a bit surprising that your site does not work.

    My OS is Windows 11, but the website is hosted at all-inkl.com. I assume they are using a Linux system. The php-version was 7.4 when the error occurred. WordPress is automatically always the latest one.

    In the meantime, I am back at acuarela 1.0.3, and it works fine again. I also tested it with PHP 8.1 without any errors.

    I can not reproduce the error. In all my settings, the update works as before, also at my demo site. Maybe because of some interaction between your site and the plugins, you will see all your articles again if you flush the permalinks and delete the cache of the browser.
    (To flush the permalinks, go to Settings > Permalinks and Save).
