site from local to online image links is not recognized

    Hello,
    I am using Media Library to organize site images. And I use All in one migration to update the site.

    Whenever I transfer site from local to online image links is not recognized and the images on the site do not appear (in truth they appear to have some random).

    I tried to reset database online but without success. Then I am forced to take the images and transport them back to the original folder and only in this way can I re-establish the correct link.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Hi Matteo

    It all depends how your local site was build. Normally All in One migration corrects the links within the database. If your site was on a sub-domain, all links are corrected properly. So it appears to me that there was a problem when migrating. One of the reasons could also be that the access rights are not set properly.

    I am a user of Media Library Folders, not support. I have moved a lot of sites from sub-domains, which always worked fine.
    I hope this gives you an idea where to look for the problem.

    I agree with Peter’s comment. I have used All in one migration a number of times so I would think is does what it is suppose to do. Thus, you should check that before moving a site, that the images in the media library and their links in posts and pages are correct.
