    We apologize however, we have determined an issue with the plugin where the issues you outlined will occur when the settings do not contain a MID, username, and password. The CardConnect team has identified and implemented a fix and it is currently going through QA. We will be pushing a patch as soon as this has been completed.     Sadly its doing the exact same thing.
    Activate —>blank screen and site down

    Do you have any additional plugins installed on your word press site? If so, can you please disable all and just have the CC plugin enabled? Please also contact us at [email protected] with your results so that we can further troubleshoot afterwards. I look forward to hearing from you.

    sgarbs – Just to confirm – have you upgraded the plugin to the latest version? If so, are you running any cache plugins that perhaps need to be cleared? Finally, do you currently have the MID, username and password fields entered in the settings for the plugin?

    I’m having the same problem. As soon I install the plugin, the site goes blank with a syntax error message.

    But this happens on Godaddy only! This is my client’s site, I copied the full site to my hosting, installed the plugin and it works fine.

    Unfortunately client paid for the hosting in advance and doesn’t want to change it.
    Do you have any idea why the plugin won’t work on Godaddy and how to solve this?

    wpoptima – With our experience with GoDaddy, we have determined that for some merchants they will not open the necessary ports for processing causing the blank screen. Please reach out to your hosting provider (GoDaddy) to see if they will open ports: 443, 6443, and 8443. If you have any further questions please reach out to [email protected].
