site goes down using HTML minify with update 4.9.8

    Hi,
    When I update the plugin to 4.9.8 my site goes down. Only when I disable minify HTML the site can run with this new plugin update.
    Please check the new update on any bugs causing this?
    How can I solve this?

    Really sorry to hear that! I’m not sure exactly what could be causing that. I went ahead and installed The Events Calendar 4.9.8 and Minify HTML 1.99 (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/minify-html-markup/) on a test site and I’m not seeing an immediate issue.

    Is that the plugin you are using to minify HTML? Are you getting any sort of error message that we could check on?

    Hoping we can get to the bottom of this!

    Hi Zach

    I Use WP Rocket as caching plugin.
    I run the site with the latest Avada version (no minification enabled in Avada) and latest Woocommerce.
    The result is a white screen on the forefront of the site
    Unfortunately I do not see anything in the WP debug file. So I guess, it is really a small thing somewhere?

    Hi Zach
    In the meantime I found out that the problem has a relation with the latest Fusion Builder 2.0.3 from Avada.
    Events Calendar 4.9.8 works with the older Fusion builder version I used (1.8.2). When I disable Events Calendar using the new Fusion Builder, the pages get white.
    Is there coding from Events Calendar in Avada Fusion Builder??

    There probably is. Avada typically does some very nice customizations for The Events Calendar. Since that is a paid product, we don’t have access to it, could you reach out to them for help?
