• I am redesigning a site for a friend, and I just noticed a message on one of the pages saying that the site has been hacked and the index file has been modified. I didn’t build the original site, but I took a look at the index files and didn’t see anything strange. As far as I know, he does not have any site backups. So, since I am redesigning the site anyway, I thought it would be best to just start over with a fresh WP install and new theme.

The problem is, my friend has published a bunch of posts with podcasts (using the PowerPress plugin) that he does not want to lose. Does anyone know how I can migrate these over to the new installation? If I import the old databases, will that copy over the podcasts too?

[Edit: Also, I have no idea when the site was hacked. Will it be an issue if I import the current database into a new WP install? Or am I just totally screwed here?]

    Thanks for your help.
