Site header/topbar section messed up

    Hi guys ,

    I am working on to build an online store site for few weeks , suddenly this morning i woke to see header section of home page all messed up i.e. i have woo commerce cart widget ,search bar & my wishlist widget on right side , its strangely appears on left side looking all messed up. And the Navigation menu which is supposed to run left to right , appears top to bottom again messed up , half of menu can be seen hidden behind woo comm cart widget which again is not supposed to there.

    I am unable to understand from where shall i start and look for to fix this annoying issue , Would really appreciate some help\guidance here.

  • Sounds like you might have either extra or missing <div> or </div>. That’s just my guess based on what you said. Can be other issues too.

    I just removed the widgets and background image from header but they still appeared on website , for some reason it looks like website has taken a snapshot of that messed up look and i can not remove it. I can add new widgets but they again appear at wrong place.

    I have cleared all the browser cache , disabled plugins one by one including CF,jetpack , wp quick cache etc but same issue.

    Sorry i uninstalled the quick cache and things that have been removed don’t appear anymore but core issue or mis alinged header section still remains.

    Try this tool to see if you have any extras or missing divs.

    Thanks , I tried that. All fine as per that. Than I took a gamble and restored my header.php with a backup version and it worked.

    But now my logo on left is small and all squuezed in , i unable to find how to increase the width of logo part . Any ideas ??

    Restored head.php file from back , customised it again and all fine now.
