• Hi Folks,

With a working site and most recent updates applied, I still have a few nagging issues. “Site Health” tells me that the REST API is not behaving correctly, specifically, “The REST API did not process the context query parameter correctly.”. I have no idea how to even confirm this, much less fix it.

Additionally, “Site Health” complained that I should remove unused themes. I took this as an opportunity to review available themes to see if there was one I like better than “Twenty Twenty-Four”, so I tried: “https://wp.tryx.org/wp-admin/theme-install.php?browse=popular” and I was advised, “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”. So, here I am.

So, I’m almost there, … just a few more details to go.

    Thanks for the help,

    Chris.

This sounds like a problem in the hosting configuration. To make matters worse, when the REST API is called via /wp-json/, HTML code that does not belong there is inserted.

Deactivate all plugins first. Does this solve the problem? If not, contact your host’s support team.
