under recommended improvement I see the following:
The optional module, imagick, is not installed, or has been disabled.

I am using a hosting company and they have 2 modules
    – imagick and
    – gmagick
I have gmagick enabled and that should cover all of imagick, no?
Should your check for performance have one or the other?

    AFAIK
Gmagick has similar but different API, therefore it is not detected nor used as replacement for Imagick API

Gmagick is based on old old fork of Imagick.
If you can enable Imagick on your host – then just do it

My hoster has both options, but you can only choose one.
So I switched to Imagick for now and removed Gmagick.

So I switched to Imagick and then uploaded 20 x 8MB Fotos and every single one had an error. So then I removed Imagick and readded Gmagick and the upload of the pictures worked. Go figure.
I think the detection should look for either of the two, if one is enabled, then do not show the performance issue on site health.

PHP modules perform most of the tasks on the server that make your site run. Any changes to these must be made by your server administrator.

The WordPress Hosting Team maintains a list of those modules, both recommended and required, in the team handbook (opens in a new tab).

Warning The optional module, imagick, is not installed, or has been disabled.
