    I am running into some roadblocks with a company site that I can’t seem to get past. The site icon on google remains the wordpress icon. I’ve made sure multiple times that the site icon in the settings of the site and theme is our logo and that it is the right dimensions.?

    The other issue I’m having is the featured image for the homepage. I need to make it an updated image of the shop with current hours. I set the default featured image as such, but it does not appear when sending a link or sharing via social media.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    I see your site icon properly in my browser, which means you’ll just have to wait for Google to update their index. They don’t index the web in real-time, and changes like this can take a few weeks to a few months.

    I set the default featured image as such, but it does not appear when sending a link or sharing via social media.

    Social media will be using the og:image value, but I don’t see one set on your homepage.

    Yoast SEO Premium is controlling your site’s og tags, and since that is a commercial plugin, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best: https://yoast.com/help/

    Forum volunteers do not have access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working correctly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you, but your best bet is your product’s developer. We encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.

    Hello @salth2o ,
    Here is the correct code for setting the Open Graph tags for your homepage:
    <meta property=”og:image” content=”https://salth2o.com/wp-content/uploads/your-image.jpg&#8221; />
    <meta property=”og:title” content=”Salt H2O – Shop Hours and Updates” / >
    <meta property=”og:description” content=”Visit Salt H2O for the latest products and updated store hours.” />

    Make sure the image URL points to the correct image location on your server. Additionally, ensure that the og:title and og:description fields reflect your page content accurately. After adding this to the homepage’s header, use tools like Facebook’s Sharing Debugger to refresh the cache.
