Hello, We have an issue with the AIO SEO plugin, it does not display the site icon/favicon despite we have set the favicon from the backend, submitted the sitemap, updated the new version, and also can check from the view page source to see if favicon picked by site or not.

This issue is with this SEO plugin, used other plugins on different sites and they do not have any issues regarding appearance. Here is the attached screenshot of what I’m talking about not appearing icon on Google searches.

    Hi @arsilan,

The favicon/site icon is not managed through the All in One SEO plugin but is instead set through WordPress settings.

For your reference, here is our documentation on this-
    https://aioseo.com/docs/how-to-display-a-favicon-in-search-results/

Upon reviewing the source code of your site, I can confirm that you have already set a favicon. However, it appears that your favicon may not be following Google’s guidelines. For optimal display in Google search results, the favicon should be a multiple of 48px square.

Please make sure that you’re following all the guidelines provided by Google here: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/favicon-in-search#guidelines.

It’s also important to note that setting a favicon does not guarantee its appearance in Google search results. As per the article mentioned above, “A favicon isn’t guaranteed in Google Search results, even if all guidelines are met”.
