    Hi

    Site Identity Background Colour has 2 effects on my website:

    – makes sure, that Nivo slider landing page is not “obstructed” when scrolling up
    –> if you use any other color than “clear”, a square in chosen color obstructs when scrolling

    – also it seems to add a square between navigation and page content on subsites, e.g.
    https://iiotpro.ch/datenschutz/
    https://iiotpro.ch/erfahrung1/

    While I need “clear” setting for landing page, I would need to set it to white background color for subsites…

    Is there a possibility to to set these two things independent of each other – or to add this feature?

    Thanks

    Chris

    Hi,

    I can’t see this being used on your website … BUT … if you add this CSS into “Customizer – Additional CSS” …

    .home .site-branding {
    background-color: transparent;
    }

    … it should do what you want.

    Let me know if that works.

    Hi Oliver

    Thanks, but the CSS did not help – or change anything.

    Header Options/Site Identity Background Colour is currently not set aka transparent – so the same as the CSS?

    This works fine for the main site “landing picture”. But if you go to any of the sublinks it makes the first centimeters below the navigation greyish:

    Thanks for having another look

    Hello Chris,

    You’d need to set the colour for the above CSS to work.

    The above CSS should clear the setting for the homepage only.

    Kind regards,

    Oliver

    ALRIGHT! THANKS!

    So fixed for me, great:-)

    Maybe interesting to add as feature for others.

    Thanks again

    OK, great news! I’ll keep an eye on this thread and if there is call for it we will look at adding a feature.

    Glad you’re sorted.

    Oliver
