Site Identity logo not showing

Have you set the favicon correctly in Dashboard->Appearance->Customize->Site Identity ?

yes its set correctly, when im in editing mode it shows up but all public facing pages its blank, its not letting me upload screenshots on this form

After I investigate the issue, it seems your site blocking access to the favicon source URL or the icon is not uploaded correctly.
The site identity favicon should be visible when you access :
https://yoursite.com/favicon.ico

For example, this is our favicon :
https://gutenverse.com/favicon.ico

Try checking if there is setting that prevent the source url to be accessed.

I removed the image from the customizer and uploaded it to the root directory as favicon.ico, its showing up on edge and Crome mobile but not crome desktop, tiny image shows up when the loading wheel is around it but then reverts to the default earth looking ball

i found the issue, one of my plugins ultimate woo commerce cart is blocking it for some reason
