    Hi there,

I need help – my site is set to English as standard language. For any reason, the language strings for

    [terms] [privacy_policy]

are translates in German, see screenshot attached. This is resulting in a mix of English and German in the privacy policy checkbox

Can you tell me how I can have the string completely in English?
Here the settings how it is set in the customizer:

  • Hey there, @kareswebdesign! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

As I understand the interface of your dashboard is in German and your website is in English, and the privacy policy is showing parts in German, correct?

I just tested on my website and I was not able to replicate this issue.

Can you please temporarily switch to the Storefront theme and check if the issue persists?

Also, do you have any plugins that might be interfering with this?

Which version of WooCommerce are you using?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hi there,

yes you are right: Backend in German, Site in English, everything else set to English as standard. And yes the strings [terms] [privacy_policy] give a german wording.
I have activated standard theme – same result:

Attached a list of plugins Im using

I dont see any problematic plugin that might change this point.

    I am using Woocommerce 8.8.2

    Hi Martin, @kareswebdesign

I see a lot of stuff translated to german on your site, not just the terms and privacy policy shortcodes. From your screenshot I also see you’re using Translatepress. If you disable it and make sure your site’s settings are set to display in English, does it work properly?

    Thanks!
