Site inaccessible 403 error

Jetpack appears to be properly connected to your WordPress.com account now. Have you managed to solve the issue by yourself?

Yes we were in a bit of a crisis and our service provider was able to help out.

Here is what they found

“According to https://jetpack.me/support/debug/ , your xmlrpc is not responding correctly. The cause for this is the following section of .htaccess in your home directory:

<Files “xmlrpc.php”>
Order Allow,Deny
deny from all
</Files>

I commented this section out and it is now able to connect normally. “

Hi–

We are having this same error. The site is https://deliciouslovelyhappy.com/

As soon as I upgraded to 4.0 this started happening. I have deactivated all my other plugins and reinstalled jetpack, to no avail.

When I go to https://deliciouslovelyhappy.com/xmlrpc.php the output is “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.”

Hi all, I had this issue and after struggling a lot I was finally able to add a rule in .htaccess and get the things working. Later I wrote a complete article on it, if you wish you can see that as it wouldn’t be a good choice to add it here.
