• Hi there,
Like everyone else last week, I updated my blog to the latest wordpress. Soon after, I got this error and I can neither log in to my admin page of the site itself.
Please help me on this, I have no idea what’s wrong.
    I’m getting these errors:

Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, ‘wp_maybe_load_embeds’ was given in /home1/oneshoto/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 405

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home1/oneshoto/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php:405) in /home1/oneshoto/public_html/wp-admin/install.php on line 54

  • ftp to site or use host’s file manager to rename the .plugins folder
this will deactivate plugins and let you log in
rename folder back to normal and activate plugins one by one

    hi there,
thnx for the tip..i did just that and now the site has:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function _http_build_query() in /home1/oneshoto/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1370

Please let me know what this means.
    thnx

still looks like a plugin failure
does the error go away when you deactivate all of them?

when you say deactivate, thats renaming the plugins folder right? the error is still there

I renamed the plugins folder to .plugin, and I get no joy. This is the second WP site I’ve had this happen on, and it’s a real bummer. The first time this happened I had to DL WP 3.2.1, unzip it into a parallel folder, then manually copy over my wp-content, themes, plugins, etc. Now it looks like I’ve got to do it again. No joy.

I was upgrading from WP 3.1.4, and I ended up blowing away my entire WP folder and unzipping a full backup I had made of my WP 3.1 installation. Upgrading from 3.1 to 3.2.1 worked fine then.

This is the second WP 3.2.1 upgrade which has totally crashed and burned. The first disaster was an UG from 3.1.3 and this one was from 3.1.4. With all my installs that were already at 3.2, I’ve upgraded with no problems to 3.2.1.

yes, seems a lot of people is having this problem..its kinda annoying with no fixing ideas whatsoever…

the problem is generally due to incompatible plugins and themes.

there’s a whole list of “fixing ideas” at the troubleshooting forum. have you tried those suggestions?
