Site is downloading PHP when trying to use sidebar

I attempted to update the PHP through my Bluehost File Manager. When I added: # Use PHP(7|7.1|7.2|7.3|7.4) as default
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php(70|71|72|73|74) .php

to the top of the .htaccess file, how when I go to WordPress and try to click on my sidebar or site health, it downloads a PHP file. HELP please!!
