Site is empty with activated plugin

Hi,
I have the same problem. So i tried to reinstall the new version of the plugin and when i activate it, i see this message:
Fatal error: Call to a member function getValue() on a non-object in /web/sites/clarahost-fr/2/246/184162/public/www/wp-content/plugins/wysija-newsletters-2/core/base.php on line 1486
..and my front-end becomes white… so i have to deactivate wysija and then it works ..

Can you help?

ok i found an old thread regarding this issue. i was able to resolve it by doing this:

1. delete the wysija folder in the plugins folder through FTP
2. download latest version
3. upload new folder into plugins

works again!

BTW @fdugue78 , can you please remove this folder “wysija-newsletters-2” and install it again. If this is a copy and you also have the “wysija-newsletters”, please remove this also. Then try to install MailPoet again, it should work!

Ok it seems to work now. Thanks. It should be great if you could give a different name version to your releases. so the folder would be wysija2.0….or else

In fact, the problem came again…my front-end becomes white, i do not know when but there was nothing changed on the front end or bak end…and I had to retrieve the plugin Wysija to get the site work again…

same thing here. the workaround only helps for about one day

Check your wp-config.php, i just found strange new lines in it. Someone hacked my site, and i think you have the same problem…and you see it when you activate wysija

i cannot find any strange lines in my file. no difference is the plugin is activated or not ??

any other suggestions from the support?

Guys, for anyone seeing this issue, please upgrade to the latest version 2.6.14 where it fixes this problem.
