hosted the site https://www.christianbikersupplies.com through GoDaddy, downloaded wordpress, chose a theme (twenty 11) loaded some affiliate pages, had completed uploading a large section of the products, all of a sudden I can’t log in and when I go to the site I can’t get past the home page. When I try, I get the message “site is not available”. I go to the forum here and I learn some things I can try, (Delete and reload parts of wordpress, disable plugins) nothing seemed to help. Now everything is gone. When I try to log in I get:
“The requested URL /wp-login.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an Error Document to handle the request.”
Everything was going swimmingly. Now everything is gone. I did back up the theme shortly before it crashed. Is there anything I can do to restore the site? Can I start over with the same name? If I start over with a new name will the theme backup still work? I hope someone can make sense of this.

  • Can I start over with the same name?

Are you referring to the domain name or your site’s title? Either ways yes, you can start with the same name. Seems like someone deleted your WP install via FTP.

I have tried to reload the site and kept getting error messages. So I have paid for hosting on https://www.christianbikersupplystores.com and reloaded the theme backup using ftp. This is the new message

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /home/content/10/10201310/html/index.php on line 16

What have I done wrong? What can I do to fix it?
