Site is running very slow

  • Hi I’ve set up and currently building a wordpress site and it’s running very slow.
    I’d really appreciate if anyone could take a look and offer any useful advice?

  • Current location: South Africa – somewhere at the bottom of the list in terms of internet speed and your side loaded in 6 seconds.

    The issue could be from your computer – connection, spyware, etc.

    thanks for the quick reply.
    Could you try navigating around the site and see if it takes a long time to open each page. I have a very quick mac with decent broadband. Other sites load straight away. and this one is very slow. It’s also painfully slow in the admin area too. :o(
