There was a theme update to Heista child yesterday that apparently didn’t agree with my site. When Bluehost restored or backdate the site – I lose half of my work.I asked them to leave it, but my developer is not able to sign in. The site was about to go live this week, lol. Now I can’t even sign in. Bluehost is trying to work on the situation but said the issue is with the theme developer.

    error code:
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘get_permalink’ (T_STRING) in /home3/puwnrrmy/public_html/wp-content/themes/hestia-child/functions.php on line 190″

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

Unfortunately, we don’t have access to your child theme, as that doesn’t appear to be one of our own, but a custom one. Your hosting provider should be able to activate the parent theme, until you manage to fix the code in the child theme.

    Regards,
    Rodica
