Site Keeps Disappearing after every few days

    I don’t understand what is it with this plugin.

    Once I have this plugin activated, after a couple days, when I access my site, it will disappear with just a blank white screen, that includes every page of the site and admin area; hence, I can’t log in either.

    So I have to disappear it from FTP, then my site will appear again.

    I log into the WP-admin area finally and reactivate this plugin, and the site would work fine again…

    However, few days later the same thing will happen. The site completely disappears and I have to do the same thing over again.

    Is it related to something in one of the setting? Anybody else experiencing this?

    Yep, I’m pretty sure I’m having a similar problem because of this plugin. I’ll periodically get the “white screen of death” and then everything starts working again after awhile. It is definitely a plugin issue, because when I renamed the plugins folder to deactivate them, the site came back up. This is happening on two sites and since this is the only plugin they have in common, I’m pretty sure it’s the culprit.

    Hope this gets resolved because I like this plugin otherwise!

    Could it possibly be the settings checked in the Tweaks since they mess with the core of the site?

    I’m not sure. I know one of the sites went screwy after the plugin changed the database prefix from wp_ to whatever random prefix. I thought it was because it hadn’t updated the wp-config file – I made the change manually and then it came back. But still having the random white screen of death. If you figure out what’s up, I’d love to know!

    That’s the problem with this plugin it’s so buggy.

    One moment you think satisfied with your WordPress security issue with this plugin, next you find something unexpected that creeps out of nowhere affecting your site.

    I’ve been testing the setting of this plugin to figure out what’s the cause, but now all of a sudden when I activate this plugin my whole site disappears with my host default index page like the site never exists.

    So I have to replace the .htaccess, everytime…and this is happening over and over again.

    I’m seriously looking into “All In One WP Security & Firewall” now which although new seems promising. Love the clean graphic easy-on-the-eyes usage.

    Better WP Security just seems buggy interfering a lot with other settings. Which this is different if you activate the settings and notice the interference, but when nothing is interfered and following couple days later something messed up and you don’t know what, that’s a headache for BWPS.

    One moment everything seems fine, next KAAAA-LOOOOOP in your face.
