• I have a client who’s blog keeps switching back to the default theme. They report that it happens after they make a new post, but I don’t know if that’s really the case or not or if they only notice it then.

Does anyone have any clue why this would happen?

  • Oh wow. WHAT a creative solution! You go…. doesn’t matter if it’s an ugly kludge workaround as long as it keeps the whole system gurgling along!

So is the header trickery the best solution…. or has anyone found a better fix for this?

Not that it has anything to do with me, but in response to vkaryl’s reply I say: So what, it works doesn’t it? Personally I think that’s a pretty good thought.

All I know is I just moved my site to a new server, and since moving, that default template has hijacked my site six or more times in the last day. I’m happy with a kludge if it works, unless theres a better fix anyone can offer…

LeTh says “I simply took the description comment from default/style.css and pasted it into my own theme’s css.” But when I look at the Kubrick css file, I see many references to “kubrickbgcolor.jpg” etc. So how many items in the Kubrick css file must actually be changed for this workaround?

Er…. yes, I thought that was what I meant when I posted. Not sure why you’d be offended….

I have this problem with my blog.

I will try to disable my mobile plugin
