    Hi there,

I’ve been having some issue with Site Kit not updating its Google Analytics stats on the dashboard.

Everything seem connected, but the dashboard has been showing this for the whole day, whilst the GA dashboard clearly says otherwise (there were more views earlier today, and those 8 views from the WordPress dashboard are from very early in the morning. It is now 5:30 PM).

This is the first day of the website being live, and I admit I installed Site Kit whilst WordFence was on (I was not aware of the compatibility issues at the time).
What should I do to “refresh” those stats? Is there a way to do so? What should I do?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey @nazrinn ,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Normally Site Kit takes time to collect the data from the API & there might be cache plugin reason as well.

Can you please disable LiteSpeed Cache plugin for a while & then check back the stats later?

Let us know if its work for you.

    Best Regards,

Can I disable only some kind of caching? Without it, the site might get very slow, and I’m not sure I’m ready too take that penality.

    How long should it take?

I am sorry for the misunderstanding. The screenshot you provided is for real-time Analytics.

Rather than troubleshooting with potential plugin conflict try to compare the Site Kit dashboards with the respective dashboards at Analytics.

Click on the Analytics link to compare stats. Please see Gif for better understanding.

    It’s sort off working now?

    Site Kit, GA Dashboard.

Although the site itself is new, the stats you see in the GA dashboard are from their old site (we wanted a continuation of the stats). The Site Kit Dashboard is set to “last 28 days” in my screenshot.

Does everything look normal now, you’d say? I’m not sure if overriding the old site’s analytics might cause issues.

Just wanted to make sure are you checking with the same date range for both Site Kit & Analytics Dashboard?

I don’t think the stats are coming from the old site until unless the same property setup on the both sites.

Technically GA is showing last 7 days, and the Site Kit dashboard is showing the last 28 days in my screenshots.

    How I set up things:

    1. Analytics account is connected to oldsite.com
    2. 301 redirect from oldsite.com to newsite.ca
    3. Connect Site Kit to newsite.ca, using the same GA view as oldsite.com, renaming all places associated to oldsite.com to newsite.ca in GA.

Did you have Site Kit connected on a previous domain, or does the previous domain always just point to your Site Kit connected site. If you didn’t have Site Kit setup on the previous domain then you don’t see anything unusual in your setup from checking your snippets.

To determine if there is any action required you need to see the same graph as per in this guide. Please provide screenshots of the same report by clicking on the See full stats in Analytics link.

The graph now work. Everything is good it seems.

By curiosity, do all stats refresh only once daily?

    That’s a good news ??

By curiosity, do all stats refresh only once daily?

That’s good question but I am not sure about it. Normally it takes time to collect the data from GA service.

I am marking this topic as resolved & feel free to open a new topic in case of any issues/questions.

    @nazrinn ,

Regarding your question about the stats I’ll check with the team and report back to you.

    Have a great day.
