    I’ve installed and configured site kit in my site but if I login with other administrator user it seems like site kit is not configured. Is like site kit saves config by user instead by site.

  • @cegomez thanks for your inquiry!

    For each site, each Administrator user is required to go through the sign in process to ensure the necessary permissions to access Site Kit data. The settings the first Administrator configured are still retained by the plugin, but the initial setup process is similar.

    Note that the second Administrator should additionally ensure access to the account/ property on the already connected services (Analytics, Adsense, etc.) for their Google account in order to view this data as well. Refer to our documentation for more on permissions levels.

    This is annoying because it makes not sense differences between administrators. I can understand not administrator users can’t be able to config site kit, but when an admin config it, I can’t understand why other admins view site kit unconfigured.

    Site kit configuration must be by site not by user.

    @cegomez thanks for your feedback!

    As mentioned, Site Kit will be configured for the second Administrator. While they need to go through the initial setup flow, the services connected by the first Administrator should be retained.

    Permissions and access to data is something that requires careful consideration. There are a few requests being tracked as we work on the best solution moving forward:

    You are welcome to leave your feedback/ use case there as further development continues.
