Many thanks for opening an individual support topic @rmintellek. Based on your report, and another users similar experience, I’ve created the below GitHub issue:
    https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/5572

So we can determine more on this, and ensure Site Kit works as expected for you, please share your Site Health information, and whether you encounter the same error if you uninstall the plugin and reinstall once more.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. One we have the information above I’ll provide you with some troubleshooting suggestions, which may include using the Health Check & troubleshooting plugin to rule out any third party plugin conflicts.

I have done as you requested and still getting the same error.

Many thanks for sharing. Comparing your Site Health information to another user, who reported the same, I can see some common plugins, including Elementor, Rank Math & WP Mail SMTP.

If you’re happy to perform some additional troubleshooting, please follow the steps below:

    1. Login to your site from a Chrome browser incognito window
    2. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    3. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    4. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”
    5. View your Site Kit dashboards once more, checking for the same error

Let me know how you get on with the above. If the same error occurs we can perform some checks on another site.

OK having gone through all the plugins, this error is caused when enabling Futurio Extra https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/plugins/futurio-extra/ is this a common plugin on both reported websites?

    Plugin Support James Osborne

    (@jamesosborne)

Nice find, thanks for sharing. This isn’t a common plugin, nor is the same theme or theme provide evident.

I’ll need to set some time aside to test for the same conflict, and until that point unfortunately I don’t have a workaround. I’ll hopefully have an update for you within the next day or two if that’s ok, and I may need to discuss this with the team.

In the meantime, while not ideal, if you’re looking to view the Site Kit dashboard, you can temporarily disable Fururio, or via while in troubleshooting mode.

I’ll keep you updated here with any updates. Thank you!

@rmintellek Many thanks for sharing the details above. We’ve been able to re-create the same error, and in our case a quick refresh of the Site Kit dashboard resulted in the error no longer occurring. Can you check if this is the same with your site, while we continue troubleshooting this?

    Thread Starter Ricci

    (@rmintellek)

No that doesn’t fix it for me.

Thanks for the update @rmintellek. I’ll add that to the related GitHub issue while investigating this further.

@rmintellek In order to test this further can you share whether you encounter the same error in the following circumstances:
    1. When using a different browser
    2. When switching between different reporting periods. Note that this may not be possible if you’re unable to asses the default 28 day reporting period. I ask as in my case it only occurs for particular reporting periods.
    3. When using the Site Kit admin toolbar, on the front end of your site.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

    SiteKit crashes after opening.

Deleted original plugin and replaced but no success.

@stijl If you’d like to open a new support topic we’d be happy to assist with your case individually. Thank you!

    (@rmintellek)

@jamesosborne I only have MS Edge, I can’t switch between reporting periods as this crash happens almost immediately when the dashboard is loading, admin toolbar dropdown only shows total impressions and total clicks.

    (@jamesosborne)

@rmintellek Many thanks for the update. We’re still investigating this at present. While I don’t have a workaround at present I will keep you updated as soon as we have more information. I appreciate all the assistance in determining the cause on this so far.

    (@jamesosborne)

@rmintellek Many thanks for your patience as we worked to investigate and fix this issue. We’ve now released Site Kit 1.79.1, which includes a fix for this error. You’ll find more details in the related GitHub issue. Please update to this latest version and check your Site Kit dashboards to ensure that the error no longer appears.

I’ll mark this topic as resolved, but if you do still see the error, please reply here and we’d be happy to take another look. If you have any other questions about Site Kit, please open a new topic. Many thanks for reporting this and for your assistance in helping us troubleshooting the cause.

@stijl Please update to the latest version of the plugin and check your dashboards once more.

    Thread Starter Ricci

    (@rmintellek)

Yes that appears to have fixed it. Thanks @jamesosborne
