Site kit: error bad request-site id

    My data is no longer showing in Google analytics. I found that my Site Kit needed to be re-setup. However, when I click on the button, I get the following error:

    Error: Bad request: invalid parameter ‘site_id’

    I’ve put my site in troubleshooting mode, and deactivated all plugins except site kit. Problem persists.

    I then changed the theme to wordpress twenty twenty-four. Problem still persists.

    Please help.

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Do experience the same when trying from an Incognito window?
    3. If you perform a Site Kit reset and setup again, do you encounter the same issue?

    @adamdunnage, I’ll filled out the form for site health information.

    Incognito window does nothing.

    I previously tried uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling it, no change.

    I just did a reset through the admin through the admin settings and it looks like it let me reset the plugin to connect back to analytics.

    @coachcarver Can you confirm that after the reset that you are no longer facing the previous issue you reported?

    @adamdunnage, it appears to working and the reported problem appears to be corrected
