I got some output from cli I got from other thread, can someone tell me what it means? Theres 404 means yea its blocked, Is it issue with plugin or google api server? Can someone confirm its up and running? I had this sites on onter server and I moved it to new vps and start over, different IP now.

Hi, vps is https://hostshield.net but I think they use hostslick.de or its the same. Disabling firewalls does nothing.

Thanks for the update @mataleo. In that case, can you please download this zip file and upload it as a regular plugin, before then activating it? After doing this please attempt Site Kit set up once more.

This mini plugin will force IPv4, which should allow you to proceed with setup given your previous checks.

Let me know how you get on with this, or ask if you have any questions.

I will do that, however error changed to this now, without me doing anything really, so at least some progress, may b this easier to solve,

Great to hear you’re now connected and thanks for the update @mataleo. We have a note regarding the latest “Getting userID failed error” added as a sticky in the forums.

In relation to no longer facing the google_api_connection_fail error, glad to hear it. The block you were facing was likely temporary, as they are in other cases. They’re specific to IPv6 so if you do run into the same error once more, feel free to perform the same checks as you did before. If you find there is another IPv6 specific block, this mini plugin will address it by ensuring communication is over IPv4 only. You can download it before uploading, installing and activating as a standard WordPress plugin.

Let me know if you have any further questions with the above, or be sure to reach out if you have any further queries. Best of luck!

its started showing errors and its the same again, didnt do anything lol

    403. That’s an error. Your client does not have permission to get URL /webmasters/v3/sites/https%3A%2F%2Fvisainthailand.com%2F/searchAnalytics/query from this server. That’s all we know.

Sorry to hear that @mataleo. Just to confirm, your facing this issue with the mini plugin activated on your site? If so, please perform the same checks below once more:

    curl -4 -I https://sitekit.withgoogle.com
The above will check the status if communication over IPv4
    curl -6 -I https://sitekit.withgoogle.com
The above will check the status if communication over IPv6

Let me know how you get on with the above.

Glad to hear it @mataleo, many thanks for the update. Given you’re not connected successfully, I’ll close this support topic. Do, however, reach out if you encounter any further issues.

Hello everyone, I have the same connection problem, we use cyberpanel, and it does not allow us to connect, this error appears, IPv6 is disabled:

    google_api_connection_fail

I thank you in advance for your response.

Sorry to hear that @cortinashd. If you’d like to open an individual support topic we can communicate with you from there. You may also wish to download, install and activate this mini plugin before attempting Site Kit setup. If your problem is related to the same IPv6 issue, this mini plugin will address it.

Thank you very much, the plugin was useful for me, I understand that what it does is omit IPv6 connections, there is only one small detail, this section is not visible on the dashboard:

Most popular products by page views
    Data loading error
    Trying again didn’t work?

    (@jamesosborne)

Glad to hear the mini plugin worked for you @cortinashd.

In relation to your dashboard and the data loading error, if you’d like to open an individual support topic we’d be happy to investigate this with you. Please include any details relevant to what you’re experiencing. This may include sharing your Site Health information and a mention of whether this occurs with or without the mini plugin active.

I’ll keep an eye out for your topic. Thank you!
