Please bear with me as I have as good as zero technical knowledge on the matter. I wanted to improve my indexing and one thing that potentially is holding me back is my Page Speed, particularly for mobile. Some of my theme doesn’t seem to play nice with asynchronized loading, so for now I’m okay with that consequence, but to my surprise the 3 biggest blocks (47% total) of the Lighthouse Treemap were all GTM. I’ve now disabled Site Kit/Google Analytics as I don’t need those kinds of insights anyway, this has indeed taken off 2 of them and improved my mobile score from 35 to 55. But this seems unusual/excessive right?

Moreover there is 1 GTM left (is this Search Console? as I don’t use GTM itself far as I know) that still takes up 27% of the loading time according to Lighthouse.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @noseknowsnonotes thanks for opening a support topic with us. The Site Kit plugin simply places the recommended code snippets for each Google service you connect. You can test this by manually placing each code snippet for the services you wish to connect to on your Site and you should see similar performance on your site.

For more information on this you can also refer to our front-end performance with Site Kit document. Let me know if you have any further questions and I will be happy to help.
