    Hi
I connected adsense on site kit plugin 1 month ago, this last Sunday I went to the adsense page and there was saying “is missing add.txt code” adsense couldn’t find it. So I though site kit would install those codes automatically, but has was missing I search for a solution, and the search told me I have to install another plugin to insert add.txt code. So I did it, i downloaded another plugin and e insert that code, and suddenly adsense start working. I was happy! But than I went to site kit plugin and there was saying that site kit couldn’t connect with adsense and showed this message “Data error in Adsense Invalid value ‘pt_PT_ao90’. Values must match the following regular expression: ‘[a-zA-Z_]+’
So I uninstall the other plugin to see if that was the problem, but was still giving me the same error, so I waited till today. But is still giving the same error. So now I don’t have the code add.txt and o don’t have the adsense connected to site kit aswell.
    Help me please. Thank you

Thanks for getting in touch. The Site Kit plugins doesn’t provide support for ads.txt implementation, but you can use this guide to ensure it’s setup correctly. If you’re looking for assistance with this the AdSense Help Center should be able to help.

In relation to the “Data error in Adsense Invalid value ‘pt_PT_ao90’” error you mentioned can you provide a screenshot or more details on this such as where does this notice appear and at what stage? If you’d like to share your Site Health information using this form we’d be happy to inspect your current setup.

Looking forward to hearing back from you. If you have any questions on the above let me know.

Sure, there are various methods you can use to share screenshots, I should have provided more information. You can use a service such as https://imgur.com or https://imgbb.com. Alternatively you can share via Google Drive or a browser extensions (for sharing screenshots or videocasts).

Note also I can see ads on your site and I can confirm a successful AdSense code placement via Site Kit.

Many thanks for sharing, very useful indeed. I’ve created the below GitHub issue so we can investigate this further.
    https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/2105

I’ll keep you updated with any additional information. In the meantime you could apply a different Portuguese language variation or use a language manager plugin (to apply a language variation for you only).

So was all about the language… Thanks a lot!! its working now, after all i needed to set my wordpress and adsense acount for english language. Portuguese from Portugal is not working. Thank you for your help. i hope in the future i can use Portuguese language.

Thanks for the update. And yes, you should be able to use any of the available languages, including Portuguese (Portugal variation). Keep watch of that GitHub issue for any updates if you wish, while we’ll also keep you updated here once resolved.
