    Hi,

I’ve very recently come across some Site Kit issues that prevent information coming to the site kit dashboard. I also had some troubles setting up Analytics, which is resolved now as I set it up through troubleshooting mode.

I’ve downloaded and installed the ‘Health Check & Troubleshooting’ plugin and Site kit works correctly in this mode.

However, I re-enabled ALL plugins + themes also in Troubleshooting mode, and Site Kit still works correctly. So I can’t be sure it’s a plugin or theme issue.

After coming out of Troubleshooting mode, Site Kit continues to work, but only for a short period. After a while, it seems to just stop working again randomly.

    I’ve uploaded a private report.

Hello @wapwop thanks for getting in touch and for sharing your Site Health information. The details you have shared points to a conflict given that this does not occur in troubleshooting mode and you weren’t able to setup without this. Could I first ask if you have tried a Site Kit reset? It’s possible that the records for your site on the service are not correct so this could be resulting in this happening. A reset should fix this if this is the cause.

You could also try enabling all plugins after performing a reset and if you encounter the issue with setup then disable plugins one by one until you are able to set up the plugin. This would then pinpoint the conflicting plugin.

Let me know how you get on with these steps and if you have any further questions.

    Thanks.

I tried resetting. Now it won’t let me, and I can’t complete Sitekit setup anymore. I’m having the same issue I tried to reset it last time. On the setup page, it says that I don’t have REST API enabled and it can’t connect (even though I do, and it works for other plugins).

When trying to connect Analytics I get an error:

    This page isn’t working

mywebsite.com?is currently unable to handle this request.

    HTTP ERROR 500′

@wapwop Are you able to set the plugin back up if you revert back to troubleshooting mode? And if yes do you encounter the same dashboard errors once more?

If possible, could you please share a screen recording of your experience? You can use a service such as Loom to capture this and share the video URL here. As there are quite a few different errors you are seeing it would be good to see these happening real time to help suggest next steps with this.

@wapwop Just checking in here to see if you are still facing issues with Site Kit? If so could you please share the requested information above.
