    Hi there,

I have installed Site Kit on a site but have noticed that the plugin only shows as being installed for the Admin who installed it.
If I login to the WP-Admin as a different user, it shows that it has not been connected.
Is there a troubleshoot for this or any action I can take to fix it?
    Many thanks

@mrlennyman Other admin users do need to connect to Site Kit with their Google account, but once connected and verified they will be able to see the dashboards setup previously by other administrators (providing the Google account associated with those WordPress administrators have access to that property in Search Console/Analytics)

You can also keep tabs on this feature request at the plugins GitHub repository, which address the topic are referring to.

OK – I appreciate this is brand new so understand this has not been set up yet.
But this would be super useful and I think necessary for this plugin to be a success.
With sites with 10 admins who all need the stats it means a lot of work to connect them all.
Is there any ETA on when something like this would be implemented?

@mrlennyman There is no ETA, although it is something being prioritized. You can turn on notifications for that feature request on GitHub, and I will also inform you here once it’s ready.

Hi! I also just found this on a customer site. By chance I had it set up with a admin account created for the site owner, so it was no problem this time. But I think it is going to be a problem for other customers. My customers are quite basic with technology sometimes, and ask them to connect their google account is a big issue for them. Sometimes I create the Analytics and Search console for them and pass on them later. So I think it would be great to let this connected somehow and that they don’t need to do anything else.

@taisa1984 Thanks for the input. I understand your concerns, I’m sure you are the one who get questions about granting access for those less tech savvy.

I noticed your comments in the related GitHub issue also. This will ensure the right team have an understanding when considering any possible feature requests. Thanks again.

It renders it kinda useless. Now I’ll have go back to using a commercial plugin that enables this feature (assigning viewing privileges). Such a shame. Seems like it would be simple. Oh and also it turns out to be a colossal waste of time to set this up, only to discover that you can’t assign viewing privelage to another user… :/ lol

But thanks anyway, it’s about intrusive as one would expect too. ??

    Still no progress on this?

I’d like to set up the google site kit for all the users at once.

@heikkiwaan We don’t have an update on this yet, with various complexities regarding the sharing of data for other users. The related GitHub issue below has more information:
    https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/6

Feel free to include any input to that GitHub issue.
