Hello, I have a problem with the Google Site Kit plugin. Well, after installing the plugin, it changes the layout of the pages and some elements diverge, I will add that this only happens after logging in

Thanks for reaching out. If this only occurs after you login I suspect there may be a conflict with an optimization plugin and the admin bar. If you’d like to share your Site Health information here or privately via this form I’d be happy to investigate with with you.

Based on the scripts running on your site you may also wish to temporarily deactivate Autoptimize before checking once more. Should the issue no longer occur we can check the configuration settings you’ve applied once you re-enable.

Many thanks for sharing. As you have a large number of plugins active please inform me whether the issue persists after following the steps below:

    1. Login to your site from a Chrome browser incognito window
    2. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    3. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    4. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”
    5. Revisit your site while logged in and check for the same layout issue

You can exit troubleshooting mode afterwards.

The above will indicate a plugin conflict, at which point we can troubleshoot your active plugins and particular configurations.

Hey, I did everything as described. Everything is fine in the incognito window, but the problem appears when I am logged in to the panel ??

Thanks for the update. Can you temporarily deactivate Autoptimize and check again if the issue persists? If not we can then run through the configurations applied.

Okay, just tell me what exactly to disable?

Sure, you need to visit your plugins page, “Plugins > Installed Plugins” and then press the “deactivate” option next to the Autotomize plugin. This is just temporarily so we can check for any configuration conflict. After doing so please visit the front end of your website once more and check whether the issue remains after reloading the page. I suspect there may be minification or some combining of JavaScript files resulting in a particular conflict with your Site Kit admin toolbar.

Great, no longer this problem! : D, only now the question is what plug can I replace it with

You can continue to use the Autoptimize plugin, we just need to check which configuration you applied, and add an exclusion if possible. Can you share what Autoptimize settings you applied? If you have “Optimize JavaScript Code” enabled please try enabling the “Add try-catch wrapping” option and checking again after reactivating Autoptimize.

Another option is to add the below to the “Exclude scripts from Autoptimize” options within Autoptimize:
    /wp-content/plugins/google-site-kit/

Another alternative is to use a filter to disable the Site Kit admin toolbar however if you’re using this feature of Site Kit I wouldn’t recommend disabling this.

Let me know how you get on with any of the above.

Okay, I turned off the “Optimize Java code” setting and everything is normal, thank you very much for your help.

Excellent, happy to hear it. If you have any further Site Kit queries be sure to get in touch. And if you have a moment free we’d love to hear your thoughts on the plugin so far.
