I had installed the site kit to include the tag manager, and it was running fine. I don’t know why it stopped working, and now it doesn’t show up in tag assistant anymore. Not only that, but I already tried resetting and reinstalling. I’ve already disabled other plugins too to see if they were interfering and nothing. If anyone can help me… Thanks in advance!

    Hi @lucasmonteirocha,

Thanks for reaching out. I’ve checked your site manually and by using tagassistant.google.com. It looks like you have a Google Analytics 4 tag inserted on your site, via Google Tag Manager.

When you mention Tag Manager isn’t working can you mention what tags you had inserted, or more details of what tags are not working? Details such as any error messages, or what you’re seeing when you check tagassistant.google.com might be useful. I’m sure we can determine the cause and ensure Site Kit works as expected, with all your tags firing.

It’s also possible that if you made changes to your tags they may need to be published, at Tag Manager level. But please do let me know more on your situation and we can investigate further.

Hi James! Thanks for the quick response.
This Google Analytics 4 tag is from another plugin, which takes the data from woocommerce. I disabled this plugin to see if it was interfering with the site kit, but it still doesn’t show up. The tag I’m referring to is GTM-WKKS5V5 from the tag manager. I need it to capture Google Ads conversions. Earlier, I could see both tags in the tag assistant.

On the sit kit everything seems to be working fine.

There is no tag manager update to be sent.

Many thanks for the update. As it looks like you have your content minified and some JavaScript resources combined can you temporarily deactivate your Litespeed cache plugin before I check your site once once?

If we can determine the snippet does appear on tagassistant.google.com with Litespeed cache temporary deactivated, we can review the settings you’ve applied, or reset to the default configurations before troubleshooting further.

Yes, with litespeed off the snippet appeared again! Now I need to see which setting is causing this…

I think I found the problem. It was an option to Remove Noscript Tags… I turned it off and it reappeared. Thanks a lot for the help!

Thanks for the update Lucas, and nice troubleshooting. Be sure to reach out if you have any further queries. If you’ve been a Site Kit user for some time don’t forget to leave your plugin feedback if not already one.
