site layout box width

    Hi!,

    i am using a slider picture on this theme but when i am switching layout to boxed and lower the box width bar so i can make the whole page a little smaller, the slider photo messes up like it is wrongly cropped no matter at what dimensions i upload it.

    Any help?

    i fixed that thank you, i removed the slider pic, and instead used an image widget for the frontpage.
    However i have a new question now, can i keep the boxed layout as i have it right now and make only header and footer stretch to full width?

    Go to Customize > Misc > Custom Code > Custom CSS and add this:

    .header_wrap.layer_wrapper, .footer_wrap.layer_wrapper { width: 100%; margin: 0;}

    yes!!! Thank you! can i exploit the left and right blank section of the page to add widgets and banners?
