From you screenshot, you can see that request from our plugin blocked by some 3rd party code or even webserver firewall. By default, WordPress doesn’t have any restrictions for WP REST API. So you need to find a problem in your setup and all will should work well.

It looks like your webserver have some issues with POST requests because one request from your theme failed and request from our plugin got a very huge waiting time. Our plugin runs on thousands of websites and we didn’t get any similar typical issues. You can try to disable other plugins to find a bottleneck.
