    Hi guys,

My iThemes Security plugin is constantly sending me emails with similar notifications.

    Site Lockout Notification

And the reason behind this mail is

    Too many bad login attempts

But my main concern is, that I’ve already hidden my Login URL, and also, on my website I’ve not allowed users to log in or create their own accounts.

But still, people are trying to log in, or am I understanding the wrong info.

here’s the link to my website https://techynickk.com

Please check guys and let me know the possible issue that occurs in the same email again and again.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

By the way, this is the “All In One WP Security & Firewall” thread. One thing you could do to stop this is use whitelisting, where only certain IP addresses can even access it. Not sure if you have tried that, but it’s worth a shot.

I’ve tried brute force features but still, the problem persists.

Also, how can I edit the Xmlrpc.php file of my WordPress and is it safe to edit it or hide it?

    How can I do that?

Hi, please follow my instructions. If you have any issues accessing the file, get in contact with your host. Also make sure you don’t have any services or plugins that require access to the xmlrpc.php file.

    Thank you
