• Now that I am FINALLY showing up in Google Search results, I’m finding that my site logo is not showing in front of the snippet and the featured image for each respective post is not with the snippet either. The result looks very unprofessional without these items. Both are set on my end of the site. Why aren’t they showing up? Link attached is one example but there are many pages.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • By looking at the code of your website, I can see that you have added an HTML code for favicon on your page.

    <link rel="icon" type="image/png"  />

    However, the URL is showing 404 error. You might have changed the path of your favicon image, which you should not ideally do if you want to show your logo in Google. As Google will not be able to find the correct image, how will it show in the search results?

    As for the featured image in your blog, we can only hope that Google will show our result as a rich result (with image) in the SERP. You have used the Recipe schema on your post with an image, which looks proper to me.

    While searching for your domain, I found 2 pages in the SERP, so I assume, that once other pages start getting indexed and your content seems relevant to Google, it will start showing featured images beside your snippet.

    Thank you for your help! Yes, I did insert the html for the favicon. But I don’t know anything about changing the path. How do I fix the 404 error?
