Site logo beside site title

I am having trouble with my site logo. I have redesigned my logo numerous times. It is either too small or distorted. I like the look of the site title and would like to but the icon beside it. Or any other idea to make it look normal. I am using a storefront child theme – bookshop and I have the siteorgin css plugin. I’m thankful for any help fixing this issue.
