• You have an extensive list of Placeholders for email templates, as seen here — https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/1340-placeholders-for-email-templates

    There is {site_name} and {site_url}.

But I didn’t see any Placeholder for Site Logo{site_logo}.

    USE CASE
Logo is Brand Identity. Having your Logo as Email Header gives a private and professional touch to the Email.

Just having it as text is boring and ordinary.

I will need a Placeholder that can help me pull Site Logo {site_logo} dynamically into my Email Templates, just as we have for other websites.

    Something like this — https://prnt.sc/Eli4xhKwaOee

    and this— https://prnt.sc/JGFImRMo8Jxa

So that when users receive my website Emails, they should see something like that, carrying my website Logo.

    QUESTION
    How do I achieve it?

Needing to hear from you soon.

    Regards.

Base64 encoded logos are mainly being used for the UM email templates.

I have gone to read the Base64 encoding that you sent to me, but I couldn’t make sense of how that has anything to do with Site Logo{site_logo} Ultimate Member Email Placeholder.

You see, I can manually write an HTML and CSS to pull my Site Logo from it’s location in the Media Library into the Email Template– and when the Email is sent, I believe the Site Logo should appear in the email sent to the user.

The issue is that this will be static, while I have to do copy and paste of this code on every and each email Template.

But if the Site Logo{site_logo} Placeholder is available, that would be easier to place.

Can you Please think of another better alternative other than your base64 encoding suggestion?

Waiting to hear from you soon.

    Regards.

There are comments in older threads in this forum that linking logos is a bad idea and base64 encoding is the best solution.

You can try this “UM Email Header Footer” plugin and use the header for your logo

I don’t want a somewhat straight forward something to now become too technical and too complicated.

You see, I haven’t known about, or even heard about a Base64 encoding as a way to dynamically pull Website Logo into sent out Emails, till you mentioned it for this my Use Case.

If you say it is the best solution, who am I to argue against it?

    OF NOTE
I don’t want to use an additional plugin.

    MOVING FORWARD
So what I need right now, is for you to guide me step-by-step, on how this Base64 encoding can help me get my Site Logo as an Email Placeholder on all my Emails that will be sent out to my users, through Ultimate Member Email Templates.

Needing to hear from you soon.

    Regards.
