    Hi,

I noticed that your awesome plugin (yearlong user) generates Facebook meta tags (<meta property=”og:) to posts when metadata option is activated. While its definitely useful to save time, its conflicts with other meta tagging plugins causing duplicated meta content and not full readable by Facebook when shared.

I thought and ask if there is a way to prevent the generated meta tags without turning off the metadata option?

    Thanks,
    Eduardo

    Hi Eduardo,

just disable the Social Metatags under SEO > Premium > Social Sharing and the “duplicates” will be away.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi,

I already disabled the social media tags under Social sharing and the generated facebook tags still appear by Delucks.

    Hi Eduardo,

oh, yes, you’re right. It was me who moved the social media metadata to the basic metadata module as they include the same titles and descriptions. But with the next major update of our plugin we’ll separate the social media metadata again and make them editable. We’ll publish the update within the next weeks…

    Kind Regards,
    Severin
