    Hello,

I just migrated my website to a new domain.

The BruteProtect widget on WordPress dashboard sill displays the previous website link.

I explain: before my domain name was for example: “previousdomainname.com”

Instead of displaying “… Malicious attempts to access newdomainname.com”, it shows: “… Malicious attempts to access previousdomainname.com”.

However, in the BruteProtect settings, the API key link is the right one.

    Is my website protected anyway?

Yes your new site is still protected, however it is using the the API key from the old site.
You can delete the API key and get a new one if you want to update the URL in our records.

Also, please consider switching to Jetpack. It now contains the most up-to-date version of BruteProtect in its Protect module.

    Thanks!

    Hi Rocco,

    Thank you for your reply.

I deleted the API key and got a new one. It worked perfectly!

Jetpack is for multisite management, isn’t it? Because I have only one WP website so I do not know if switching to Jetpack would be useful in my case.

    Thank you again!
