Site Name – Next To Icon In Chrome SERP
-
I’m trying to fix an issue with the way my website appears in search. This only appears to apply to Chrome Google Search where the publisher name appears next to the site icon on top of the actual domain name. For example searching for “WordPress” results in :
(site icon) WordPress
https:// www.ads-software.com
www.ads-software.com: Blog Tool, Publishing Platform, and CMS
Where is the “WordPress” name being pulled from? I don’t see anything in Search Console where this could be used and there is nothing on my page source either that could be used.
Currently, this is pulling from my old domain (did a site move in SC due to a domain change)
Here is the website I was having issues with: rnt.com
and here is a structured data result: https://validator.schema.org/#url=http%3A%2F%2Frnt.com
