Site name showing twice

  • Hi

    since last update the site title is showing twice on browser, also the spacing between page name / product is missing

    yes using commercial theme, contacted them they told me to contact you.

    also using woocommerce

    there are also some other minor issues, such as it claims when checking page the focus keyword is not in content I even place the same word some 10 times on a test page and it still cannot see them in content.

    please advise

    it appears after a websearch the issue is with the SEO plugin, I tested it by disabling it and all was OK

    whilst I don’t want to ditch this plugin, it is looking like I might have to as reading through many pages of posts, forums etc on the web there appears to be no way to fix it, as such it appears there maybe a bug in the recent updates

    There are several threads on here that address this (non)issue with the plugin.

    In the Titles & Metas, the “Force rewrite titles” is probably checked and your theme already handles page titles, so the plugin is duplicating.

    Just uncheck the box and save, should work fine.

    thanks for reply, it is a big issue as it will force search engines to think spam.

    force rewrite is not selected and never has been, this only started since last update.

    so myself and others are now assuming a bug in the update ?
