Site not displaying properly in IE

  • I am using Woothemes for adaptainer.co.uk and am I have problems with the site not displaying properly in Internet Explorer. Everything works well in Chrome/Firefox and even IE except for when compatibility mode is switched off.

    Home page slider not working or not displaying properly
    One of the 6 home page mini feature images (container conversion) not showing up in some IE browsers
    I have also noticed some other functionality not working inside the site like the Woothemes short code buttons

    Would any one be able to provide any insight on why thisis happening/fix suggestions please?
