site not ready to go live

  • Hi,
    I really need help. I was still in the process of building my website and it wasn’t even ready, but somehow it went live. I don’t know what happened. How can you undo it? I’m not tech savvy at all.

    I think the easiest thing to do would be to put up a “Coming Soon” page with as much or as little information as you want the public to see right now. This way, nobody can see the actual website content until you are ready; you can still see the site and work on it while logged in.

    There are a number of plugins that have this functionality. I would search for “coming soon” in the plugin directory and see if there is one you like.
