• Hello, I am using WordPress 2.7.1, with a heavily modified “Glossy Light” theme. When I say heavily modified, I really just mean the images that make up the theme and the colors of texts, links, and such.

The site is fairly new, and worked fine in every browser when I launched. However, sometime over the past week, a friend notified me that the site looks whacked in IE7 & IE8. I checked, and sure enough, the entirety of the site content is shifted to the left, like it is aligned with the left side of the browser window. However, the background, images, and seemingly table that houses those images remains centered. I have not changed anything with the CSS, HTML, or PHP since I launched the site. Just made posts and pages. Its quite strange, and after staring and messing with the code on the various parts of the site for hours, I can not figure out what the problem is.

I would like to point out that the site works perfectly in Fire Fox, Opera, Google Chrome, and Safari. But not IE 7 & 8.

Can anybody help, please? I have scoured my design and the internet for a solution, I can’t figure it out.
