Site not staying in edit mode

Since installing WP Optimize, I find that if I go to a different page, I am logged out and no longer have the edit bar at the top. This does not happen when I navigate using the menu, but it happens in the two following situations:
I do a search on the site, and then click thru to the found page.
I paste in a url from the site, and it goes to that page.

Prior to installing WP Optimize this did not happen – I could select a found page, and still see the edit bar, or I could paste in a url from within the site, and the edit bar was still there.

I suspect there is a setting that I should change in Optimize?
