Also, if it just quit suddenly, you might check with your hosting company to be sure the problem is not there.

I’ve tried almost all of the suggested things with the link you’ve send without any improvements. I even tried restoring the database files. That did not work either.

The blog is hosted with Godaddy. It doesn’t seem like there is anything wrong with that. Any other options?

Actually, GoDaddy is well known for having problems – and several other people reported problems yesterday, I think. I would suggest you check with them.
