Site not working properly after scan, fix and reinstall

    I scaned my site with Wordfence. It found aroud 300 issues. Mostly core file modified in wp-includes/js. I let Wordfence to fix these errors and I reinstalled WordPress after this. Now the first page of my site is not showing images anymore. The code seems to be okay. In the administrator area it is not possible to see the content of the posts or pages and it is not possible to add new posts and pages since the editor part is not working. It doesn’t show the buttons and the content.

    Any ideas what happened and how to fix this?

    Hi,

    It’s possible that a file from a plugin or theme was removed, or that a hacked file remains that refers to another file that was removed or fixed.

    The best start is to find the site’s error log and see what errors are listed — they may mention a missing file, or some other issue in one of the php files.

    You can also check the site’s .htaccess file and wp-config.php files. Sometimes there are malicious changes in those two files that may not have been found.
