Site Origin Headline widget in footer is not displaying on page

    I am able to see the words in preview but when I save the footer widget settings and refresh the page nothing is showing. I have seen online earlier that other people have had the same issue as this and a potential explanation was that it is not showing in the footer as the headline widget was not designed for the footer area but the main body of a page. Please can someone tell me what CSS I can add/ code I can change to ensure it will show in the footer widgets area?

    Hi klh0187,

    The SiteOrigin Headline widget is designed to display in any widget area so it definitely should be displaying.

    I can’t seem to see the headline widget in your markup. Did you remove it? If not, can you please open the Layout Builder in your footer and send me an export of its layout? To do this, please click the Layout button in the Page Builder toolbar. Then click import/export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.

    Hi Alexgso,

    Thanks for getting back to me on this. I did remove it and tried a text widget instead which did display. I have now changed this back to the headline widget and on my page it’s not displaying on the left next to my app badges.

    Hi klh0187,

    Sorry for the delay.

    Would it be possible for you to temporarily disable your maintenance gate so I can inspect your footer again? If not, would it be possible for you to send me an export of your footer so I can try and work out why the headline widget isn’t displaying.

    Thanks. To confirm, are you adding the headline widget to your footer directly or to the layout builder in the footer? If the former, can you please try adding it to the layout builder to see if that helps?

    If the latter, can you please send me an export of the layout builder?
